Y.E.S. we can!
We were among the early sponsors of the group that has become Youth Entertaining for Service…so we were only too willing to support their continued good works with a donation towards the purchase of a new piano.
We even managed to persuade most of the Club members to help present the cheque to Lacey MacDonald and recent Paul Harris Fellow recipient, Janice Butler.

For 28 years, Bouchie Lake Recreation Commission Society has been holding a Seniors Luncheon annually in March...and Pat Clauson, Gerry Johnston and Gloria Kolenchuk have been involved from the very first one.
In March 2010, were delighted to help by way of a donation of $1,000 along with some Rotarian servers.
Pictured are Pat, Gerry and Gloria, along with Anna Eastman, flanked by 2009-10 Club President Liane Kimmie and Projects Committee Chair Alex Coffey.

All three firehalls in Quesnel are now equipped with Automated External Defibrillators. Quesnel Plywood and our sister club, Quesnel Sunrise 2000, funded the first two, in West Quesnel and Downtown, and we donated $2,500 to fund the third, at Red Bluff Firehall.
Firechief Ric Raynor, right, accepted the cheque from 2009-10 Club President Liane Kimmie, while Deputy Firechief Sylvain Gauthier holds the potentially life-saving equipment. Click here for the City of Quesnel announcement.

The activities of 4H in Quesnel will be enhanced with the construction of a livestock grooming stand by Barlow Creek 4H. The stand will hold show animals securely but comfortably while they get treated to brushing and trimming; this also means a greater level of safety for the 4H member doing the brushing and trimming.
Pictured are Gwen Dillabough and Cody Dillabough of Barlow Creek 4H receiving their donation of $3,000 from 2009-10 Club President Liane Kimmie.
